  • Schedule Movement Like an Appointment – You are likely busier than usual during the holidays, so schedule movement as a non-negotiable part of your day. Even 15–20 minutes of activity—whether it’s a brisk walk, a short workout, or some stretching—can boost your mood, reduce stress, and keep you feeling energized. For an added benefit, wear a weighted vest.
  • Stay Hydrated, Especially at Gatherings – Drinking water throughout the day helps curb hunger and keeps your energy up. At holiday parties, aim to drink a glass of water between other beverages.

  • Prioritize Protein with Every Meal – Protein helps keep you full and satisfied, which can prevent overeating during holiday gatherings. Try to include a source of protein, like lean meats, eggs, Greek yogurt, or legumes, with each meal to support your energy and keep cravings in check.

  • Set Boundaries to Prioritize Rest and Recovery – Busy schedules can lead to late nights and increased stress, so make rest a priority. Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep when possible, and carve out moments to decompress, whether it’s a quick meditation, reading, or just taking a few deep breaths.
