Innovative Vitality patients also receive a 15% discount at Innovative MedSpa.
Innovative Vitality requires a 6-month membership commitment from our patients.
Doctors receive little to no training on menopause in medical school. We have to seek out the science and pursue the training in order to be well-equipped to support women through their menopause journey. As a member of the North American Menopause Society, I follow their guidelines for treating perimenopause and menopause symptoms. There are many options for women, yet sadly, doctors often dismiss symptoms and do little more than assure women that their symptoms are “normal.” That is unacceptable. We treat women with dignity, respect and present them with options to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Rahul Khare and Dr. Renata Gazzi lead the Innovative Vitality team. Together with Meredith Villarreal, NP, they deliver care that is far above what you’d find at a typical medical practice. Our team is passionate about helping patients improve their health.
You must be a patient (member) of Innovative Vitality for hormone testing and treatment. This is because hormone testing is not a one and done scenario. Hormones shift frequently and each lab test only marks one point in time. We do thorough bloodwork quarterly to monitor hormone levels. We also work with patients on all aspects of your health. Having an Innovative Vitality provider is like having a doctor and a health coach all wrapped into one. We spend a considerable amount of time with each patient. While hormonal symptoms may be the initial reason for your visit, we won’t stop there. We’ll take a deep dive into your health together and create a plan to help you prevent disease, live well and improve your overall health. Vitality is a journey of health for long-term wellness.
There are many HRT options available. These include local therapies (available in topical creams, implants, injections) and systemic therapy (often pills, systemic injections, implants). There is no one size fits all treatment. Your current health, lab results, symptoms and lifestyle will guide what HRT option is best for you. Innovative Vitality only prescribes treatment that is vetted and recommended by leading institutions such as the Menopause Society.
There are countless symptoms linked to perimenopause and menopause. No two women are the same, so it’s important to pay attention to your body. The wide range of symptoms often leads women (and many medical professionals) to not recognize that they are caused by hormone fluctuation. This may cause women to suffer in silence or be misled. Testing hormones and tracking symptoms is very important. Our model of care allows us to see patients frequently and track their symptoms together to ensure we are getting the full picture and can devise a plan of action to address their symptoms. Symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause in women include the following:
